Long Beach Museum of Art is free on Friday! Unfortunately there were a bunch of wiener kids running around making weird noises. But the best exhibit was David Simon's Dark Forrest (sculpture seen above). Just amazing and so detailed that I felt they were real people asleep or spellbound during some random act. Even the eyes which at first I thought were marbles were really just precise negative spaces. Kids weren't allowed here.
